Painting...and lots of emoticons

I always forget how much I enjoy painting, traditional or digital.  Recently I've been testing out some new wall colors (just swatches on cardboard) and even that has been enjoyable, quite peaceful actually.  In more exciting news, I bought myself a tablet monitor!  Tablet monitor, interactive pen display, graphics tablet display, cintiq alternative, whatever you want to call it.  We really need a standardized name for these things.  I got a 21.5in HD IPS Monoprice display, if you want to know more just ask.   After my Samsung note 8 tablet died late last year, I've been yearning to get directly on a screen again.  And I have to say, I love this thing.  I just hope to get my use of it a little more...seamless, but that will take more time.  My first little bit of fun with it was just some colors on this.

Oh, and can ya'll believe I'm 25 now?    Whether you think that its old or young, I think its just kinda weird. Meh.  I hope everyone is enjoying their springtime!
